By booking through Bluefin Holidays you accept the following general refund and cancellation framework. Please note that supplier policies for airlines, hotels, cruise lines and other service providers may apply in addition to these terms.
Cancellation by the Customer For flight-only bookings the airline’s cancellation and refund policy will apply and any service fee charged by Bluefin Holidays for arranging the ticket is non-refundable. For package bookings the refund amount depends on how far in advance the cancellation is received: cancellations made well in advance are eligible for a significant refund after supplier deductions, cancellations received closer to departure have a reduced refund, and cancellations very close to departure may not be eligible for refund unless the supplier provides one. For hotel-only bookings refunds will follow the hotel’s published policy; non-refundable rate bookings cannot be refunded.
Refund Processing Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method after we have received any applicable refund from the supplier. Refunds are processed promptly after approval; processing times vary by payment method and banking partners. Any bank charges, payment gateway fees or supplier penalties applicable to the transaction will be deducted from the refunded amount.
Cancellation by Supplier or Force Majeure If a supplier cancels a service, or if circumstances beyond our control such as natural events, government restrictions or other force majeure events affect the travel arrangements, Bluefin Holidays will work with you to offer an available supplier refund where possible, an alternative travel date, or a credit note for future travel. We will assist in arranging alternatives and explain the options clearly.
